Today I listened to the governor speak at a public address. I expected it to be dry, but I found myself paying attention to how he explained policies and tried to connect with the audience. It gave me a better understanding of how leadership works in real time.

Today I cooked a full 5 course meal for my family. It took a lot more time and effort than I expected. I had to manage timing, taste, and presentation all at once. By the end, I was exhausted but proud. Sitting down together and watching everyone enjoy it made it all worth it.
Today I sent an email to one of my old teachers just to say thank you. She replied a few hours later, surprised and touched. It felt good to let her know the impact she had on me, even if it was something I never said before.
