Tonight I tried stand-up comedy. My jokes didn’t land, but I liked the feeling of being vulnerable. Michel, a singer who performed before me, told me I was brave. I left after that but turned around because something about the room felt safe. When I came back, people welcomed me like I belonged. Later, I went back on stage and told two more jokes.

Tonight I read for 15 minutes before going to sleep. No phone, no distractions, just a quiet story and a calm room. It helped me wind down in a way screens never do.
